Find the average number of users for a given period
Follow these steps to find the average number of users that are visiting your site per day in a given period.
ThoughtFarmer does not have a default metric that shows you this value; it needs to be calculated manually. Don't worry, it's easy!
To find the average number of users a day for a given week:
- Go to the Users report (under the ThoughtFarmer tab on the left).
- Change your date range to a week.
- Export the report to an Excel file.
- Using the total number of unique visitors in the week, divide that by 7 (number of days in a week).
*Note: you may want to consider only accounting for Monday-Friday and dividing the total user number by 5 if it makes sense to exclude weekends.
