User profile field mapping where ThoughtFarmer is the data owner 

User profile field mapping where ThoughtFarmer is the data owner requires write access to be enabled for the ThoughtFarmer service account. The settings for this account are configured on the individual External user store: basic setting page.

ThoughtFarmer can push user attribute data to any External user store based on ThoughtFarmer profile fields. If ThoughtFarmer is set as the data owner then user updates to these fields will write back those changes to the configured External user store on profile page save. The requirements for the permissions will vary by the External user store. Please see External store field mappings for more information.

With no write access enabled, all fields that are synced must have the External user store as the data owner. Any changes made by users will be overwritten when the External user store synchronization task "Bulk update users" is run.
