Install the Employee Directory Connector
The Employee Directory Connector (EDC) bridges your internal Active Directory or LDAP identity store with your ThoughtFarmer intranet, enabling automated user provisioning and single sign-on (SSO) workflows.
Before initiating this installation, please submit a request to the ThoughtFarmer Helpdesk. Our Support team will partner with your IT staff to ensure pre-requisites are verified and assist with database token generation.
Before you begin
To complete the EDC setup successfully, you must complete the following foundational administrative configurations prior to running the installation wizard:
Configure a login provider: Set up your primary authentication method within the ThoughtFarmer Admin Panel.
Configure the login hostname: Define and bind your designated authentication FQDN/URL.
Configure the Active Directory page: Establish your primary Active Directory store connection within the application settings.
