Confetti custom card

Brighten up your page with a burst of colorful confetti!

What it does

This fun customization will add a burst of confetti animation when you load the page. Great for celebrating those special days such as work anniversaries, birthdays, and team milestones.

With the easy to use configuration settings, you can customize your confetti's animation duration and colors. For more information see the Configuration section below.

Installation

All free custom cards are automatically available on ThoughtFarmer and can be added to content templates. (To learn more, see Create and edit default templates and Modify a page template.) Details about the cards can be found on the ThoughtFarmer Admin panel: User interface section > Custom cards page.

Configuration

Configuration buttons

When placed on a page, the configuration buttons will only appear to admins and users who have edit permissions. These options allow you to test and play the confetti animation to see what it looks like with its current settings.

Settings

Animation controls: Test the confetti by playing its currently saved settings, or the new settings configured in the modal popup.

Duration: Set how long the confetti should play for with the minimum of 0 seconds (1 shot), and the maximum of 10 seconds.

Colors: Use the color picker to add up to a maximum of four colors.

Advanced configuration: Check this box to include optional advanced settings that require JSON code. The JSON must be wrapped inside a set of square brackets shown in the example below. Please check the Canvas Confetti documentation for a list of available options. Please be aware that some settings may cause browser performance issues. Click "Play current" to test your settings before saving.
