How to use AI Assistant

What is AI Assistant?

AI Assistant uses AI to help you quickly find information and answers about specific topics on your intranet. You'll find the AI Assistant as a little icon in the bottom right of your screen when you're on your intranet.

Get started

Click on the AI Assistant icon in the bottom right of your screen to open the AI Assistant message window. Your intranet admins have set up a welcome message to help introduce you to the AI assistant. Read the welcome message and click Continue.

Look at the available topics

The AI Assistant can't help you with everything found on your intranet. Your intranet admins have configured the AI Assistant to be able to answer questions on specific topics relevant to your organization. Read through the list of topics to get an idea about what subjects the AI Assistant can help you with.

If you want to ask a question about a specific topic, you can let the AI Assistant know the subject of your question by clicking on the default topic All above the Type your question field, and then selecting the relevant topic from the dropdown menu. Otherwise, just leave the topic as All and ask your question.

Remember, the AI Assistant can only help you with questions about topics that have been configured for it.

Use natural language to ask questions

When you're ready to ask the AI Assistant a question, enter it in the Type your question field and press Enter. Use natural language when asking a question, just like you would if you were asking your coworker. 

It might take a moment to think about the answer, and then you'll get a response in the message window. The AI Assistant might ask you a question for clarification. You can ask follow up questions, or a question about a different subject.

Give feedback to help intranet admins

After the AI Assistant gives a response, it will ask for feedback on whether its response was helpful. You can click Yes or No to give quick feedback. If you click No, a field will where you can provide more detailed feedback if you like. This feedback can help your intranet team know if it would be useful for the AI Assistant to have more information about a topic, or information on a new topic.
