Install the mobile app
When your intranet is upgraded to ThoughtFarmer 10, the ability to use the ThoughtFarmer mobile app to access the intranet is automatically enabled. Your intranet must be running ThoughtFarmer 10 or higher to use the mobile app.
If you use Windows SSO as the primary login method on your intranet, you will need to follow some additional steps to enable mobile app usage. To learn more, see Enabling the mobile app.

- You will be prompted to Allow ThoughtFarmer to take pictures and record video. (ThoughtFarmer will only use the camera and microphone if you choose to take a photo or record video within the app after tapping Upload file.) Select the desired option.

It also allows important broadcast push notifications to display on your device. (Apple devices request this permission on initial setup.)

Unable to connect to intranet message
When you enter the intranet URL into the mobile app, you could receive the message "Unable to connect to a ThoughtFarmer intranet. Make sure the mobile app is supported on your version of ThoughtFarmer." You might see this message because:
- The URL has not been entered correctly.
- The intranet has not been upgraded to version 10+.
- The intranet is only accessible from inside the company network and you are attempting to access it from outside the network.
Available Rich Text Editor tools
The Rich Text Editor (RTE) tools are reduced to a basic set by default in the mobile app to maximize the available space for editing page content on small devices. Intranet administrators may choose to make other editing tools available on the mobile app RTE. For example, the Insert image tool is not available by default in the page body RTE toolbar on the mobile app. Additional tools can be added via configuration settings. To learn more, see Configure Rich Text Editor settings.
