Insert content blocks
Content blocks are pieces of content that have been created in advance for use on intranet pages. Intranet admins can create preset content like an organization's mission statement and values, or a project proposal template. Then page editors can easily insert those content blocks into page bodies and edit them like any other content in the Rich Text Editor.
Content block example: Meeting agenda template inserted on a page and ready to edit
Who can use content blocks?
Only admins can create content blocks, but other page editors can insert them into intranet pages. Content blocks may be restricted for use by specific users or security groups.
If you have access to any content blocks, you will see the content blocks icon in the Rich Text Editor toolbar when you edit an intranet page. When you click the content blocks icon, a searchable list of content blocks available to you will open.
Search content blocks
You can search the list of content blocks to easily find the content block that you want to add to the page. When you click the Content blocks icon when you are editing a page, a searchable list of content blocks will open. Start typing part of the name or description of a content block to filter the list of content blocks. When you see the content block you want in the list, click on it to insert it in the page.
