Profile phone numbers as telephone links

By default, profile phone numbers act as telephone links only in the mobile app. If your organization uses VoIP apps to make phone calls, you may want profile phone numbers to be telephone links on desktop devices as well as mobile devices. Set the config setting profile.fields.linkTelFieldsAlways to True to have profile phone numbers act as telephone links on both desktop and mobile.

To always have profile phone numbers be telephone links (on both mobile and desktop):

1. Go to the Admin panel: Advanced section > Configuration Settings page.
2. Type fields in the Search config settings field to narrow the config settings results.

3. Find the config setting:

   profile.fields.linkTelFieldsAlways

4. Click the edit icon beside the config setting. (This opens the Edit configuration setting pop-up window.)
5. The default value is false. Select the true radio button to have profile phone numbers be telephone links (on both mobile and desktop).
6. Click Save.
