Navigation cards
Navigation cards are what make section pages work as landing pages, directories, and tables of contents. Navigation cards display one or two levels of subpages in easy-to-scan or engaging ways. There are nine default navigation card types, each with unique directory or grid styling. You can experiment with different section templates or navigation cards to see what works best for you.
If you create a page using a section template, it already has a navigation card built in. You can add navigation cards to other pages by modifying the page template.
To add a navigation card
- Go into edit mode on the page where you want to add the navigation card.
- Click Set up cards under Content type & template on the right.
- In the Update cards window, click Modify template.
- Click +Add card in the column where you want to add the navigation card.
- In the card selector pop-up, search "grid" or "directory", filter by Navigation Cards, or scroll down to the Navigation cards section.
- Click on the navigation card you want to add.
- Click the gear icon to customize the navigation card settings (To learn more, see Navigation card options.) If you change a setting, click Update.
- Click Done in the Update cards window.
