Email newsletter content blocks
Content block types
Email newsletters are created by arranging different types of content blocks in the desired order and populating them with content from the intranet and custom content. See descriptions of content block types and features below, and set up instructions under the heading Set up content blocks.
- Multiple posts: Displays multiple posts, events, or other intranet content items. Different display styles put images, titles, and text excerpts in different arrangements. To learn more, see the Display styles heading.

- Image: Displays a large image with padding. A link can be added to the image.
- Rich text 2 columns: Behaves the same as the Rich text content block but in two columns. Does not support tables or table layouts.
- Heading: Enter text to have it display as a large text, bolded header.
- Divider: Horizontal line dividing content blocks.
Display styles
Multiple posts and Single post content blocks have different display styles to choose from. The display styles are described below, but you can switch back and forth between different styles to compare them when you are editing the newsletter.
- Side-by-side: Posts display in a single column, with small post images on the left and post title and text excerpt on the right. Calendar events display date and time above the event title and text.
- Text only: Posts display in a single column with title and text excerpts only, no images. Calendar events display date and time above the event title and text.
- Grid (multiple post only): Posts display in a two column grid, each post with a small post image above and post title below. Calendar events display date and time above the event title.
- Stacked: Posts display in a single column, with a large post image, and post title and text excerpt below. Calendar events display date and time above the event title and text.
