Insert checklist
Checklists or To-do lists can be added to intranet pages to keep track of action items or other items where recording completion is useful. Items on a checklist can be checked off by a variety of users so everyone can keep track of what has been accomplished on a single page.
Checklist items remain listed on the page once checked, so users can view completed checklist items.
Where can checklists be added?
Checklists can be added to the body of pages in the main Rich Text Editor, or they can be added in additional Rich text cards.
Who can check and uncheck items?
Only page editors and administrators who can edit all content are able to check and uncheck items on a checklist. Users with View only permissions on a page can view checklists but not check and uncheck items. Users with View & edit permissions on a page can check and uncheck items while viewing the page or editing the page.
Insert a checklist
Adding a checklist to a page is just like adding a numbered or bulleted list, with the added ability of checking and unchecking the checkboxes after.
To add a checklist, go into edit mode on the page, put your cursor where you want to add the checklist, and click the To-do list button.
A checkbox will appear where you inserted the To-do list. Type the text of your To-do and hit Enter to add more checklist items.
Check items on view page or edit page
Checklist items can be checked or unchecked by page editors both when viewing a page and when editing a page.
When a user is viewing a page and checks or unchecks an item, the change is automatically saved as a page edit. These changes are tracked as page edits in the version history and page activity. A user must have View & edit permissions on a page to check or uncheck a checklist item, even if they perform the action without going into edit mode.
When a user is editing a page and checks or unchecks an item, the user must save the page to keep the change, just like all other changes in edit mode.
