Search dashboard
The Search dashboard provides insights into the search behavior and search effectiveness on an organization's intranet.
For analytics, searches are only tracked if the user clicks on a result after they perform the search. If a user performs a search but doesn't click on any of the search results, that search is not included in the analytics dashboards.
| Widget | Description |
| Highlight | Displays the Number of searches and Number of keywords counts for the selected period, as well as comparisons with the previous period. |
| Search over time |
Displays the number of searches performed over time during the selected period as a bar chart. Depending on the date period, each bar may represent a day, a month, or a year. Hover over a bar to see the values it represents, and click on a bar to see options to change the date period you are viewing (drill down, drill up, or reset to the original date period). |
| Search keywords |
Displays top search keywords with analytics for how many times a keyword was searched, the number of users who searched for it, and the number of pages visited from the search results. Click on the number of users beside a search keyword to view the users who searched the keyword and how many times they searched it. Click on the number of pages visited beside a search keyword to view the pages that were visited from the search results, and how many times they were visited. This table has a maximum of 200 results, displayed 20 per page. |
